Formed in 2002, San Diego's Channing Cope have established themselves as a tireless touring band, having played over 200 shows with bands such as The Fucking Champs, Shannon Wright, Dresden Dolls, Liz Durett, The American Analogue Set, Aspects of Physics, Sleeping People, Glass Candy and many more.
The Band's 3rd album, "Plunge into Contempt," recorded by Ben Moore (Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, etc...) and released as Woodson Lateral's first digital-only release.
Channing Cope's first two albums, "Leaving the Ramp" and "Sugar In Our Blood" were recorded by Rafter Roberts (Sufjan Stevens, The Album Leaf.)
